Solarize Granby

Solarize Granby is a community-supported solar campaign that makes it easy for residents to go solar. You’ll get:

  • Community-selected, certified local solar installers
  • Protection against rising energy costs
  • Town-wide educational solar workshops from a neutral nonprofit
  • $0 down financing options that require no out-of- pocket expenses
  • Town-approved, high quality equipment at reduced group pricing

The Solarize Granby deadline has been extended until August 26.   There is still time to sign up for a free site evaluation.

Here’s what your Granby neighbors are saying about their solar…

McCord Solar

“We are proud to make our own renewable energy, and do our part to protect this wonderful Earth for our future generations.”  – Kimberley McCord

Granby Mike and Debbie Gantt - Solar

“We love knowing that even on a winter day we’re producing more than we’re using.” –

Mike and Debbie Gantt

“We decided to go solar because it’s environmentally friendly.   Now, ten months out of the year our electricity bill is only $19.25 (the flat fee charged by Eversource).

We are very happy with our decision to go solar-we should have done it sooner!”

Paul & Jill Belanger

“Going solar allows us to be do something good for the environment.  Saving money on top of it is always a good thing.”

Michael Keating

“We just love being able to help the environment and save money at the

same time. There’s no better illustration of the power of solar than watching

that meter spin rapidly backwards on a sunny day.”
