Here’s What Your Neighbor’s Are Saying About Their Solar Installations…

Chris Alonzo: A Modern Home off of Great Hill Rd.

I had been interested in going solar for a while because I am trying to do my part to help our environment and stop climate change by reducing carbon dioxide emissions.    However, I didn’t know how much it would cost or even how to get started.
One day, I saw an online ad for solar panels at no cost to me. I clicked on it. It showed me a satellite image of my house on the screen.  It asked me a few questions.  Before I knew it, I was talking to a sales person who answered every question I had and spent a considerable amount of time discussing how it works. The system was a no-brainer because there was no out-of-pocket expense.  And I would be saving money right from the start.

They installed 32 panels on the back side of my roof. Over the 20-year lease, they estimate that my system will save me thousands of dollars, because electric rates are likely to be much higher than today, but the amount of the lease is fixed.  Also, It will prevent hundreds of thousands of pounds of CO2 from entering the atmosphere over the 20 years.  I have had the system for 3 years now.  Once there was an issue with it, but because they monitor it constantly, they told me about it before I was even aware of it. They fixed it at no charge because they are responsible for it.  10 out of 12 months each year, my electric bill is the minimum amount, which is just a connection fee.
I am very happy that I went solar.
